Born and raised in Pakistan his family and the society wanted him to become a doctor or an engineer.
Against the pressure Rehan decided to study the wildlife and nature. He left Pakistan and soon became very fond of snakes and birds. 

He returned to his home country with a PhD and now teaches at the university.
